What you get with an ALMACO table
Pick the size that fits your bay
Choose 2.5' x 4', 3' x 3', 3' x 5', 3' x 8', 4' x 4' or 4' x 8'. Side heights run 4" to 11" by model.
Grade 50 steel top
Standard tops are 3/8" Grade 50 steel. Move up to 1/2" Grade 50 when you weld heavy parts every day.
Clamp anywhere on a 2" grid
Holes sit on a 2" grid and the top row is drilled and tapped, so clamps and fixtures go where you need them.
Flat surface for square work
Flatness is held to +/- .02", which helps you hold accurate 90 degree angles on frames and gates.

Sizes, steel and options
ALMACO welding and fabrication tables were developed and tested in ALMACO's own plants, where they build heavy duty equipment for the construction and agriculture industries. The same design is what you weld on in your shop.
Tables are build to order in the 2026 model year. Pick the size, the steel thickness and whether you want locking casters, and we will quote it.

- Standard top: 3/8" Grade 50 American steel; 1/2" Grade 50 upgrade available
- 2" hole grid; 16 mm holes on smaller tables, 28 mm on larger tables
- Top row of holes drilled and tapped: 5/8"-11 on smaller tables, 1"-12 on larger tables
- Flatness tolerance of +/- .02"
- Height 38.8" to 44.05", depending on the feet
- Weights from about 464 lbs (2.5' x 4') up to about 2,670 lbs (4' x 8' with 1/2" top)
- Optional locking casters when you need to move the table

How much does a fabrication welding table cost?
Listed prices run from $4,510 for the 3' x 3' base model up to $8,855 for the 4' x 8' with the 1/2" steel top. Price depends on size, steel thickness and casters. Ask us for a quote that includes freight to your shop.
What sizes are available?
Six sizes: 2.5' x 4', 3' x 3', 3' x 5', 3' x 8', 4' x 4' and 4' x 8'. Side heights run from 4" to 11" depending on the model.
Should I take the 3/8" or the 1/2" top?
Both tops are Grade 50 American steel. The 1/2" upgrade adds thickness and weight. For example, the 4' x 8' weighs about 2,000 lbs standard and about 2,670 lbs with the 1/2" top.
Are the holes tapped for clamps and fixtures?
Yes. Holes are on a 2" grid, 16 mm on the smaller tables and 28 mm on the larger ones. The top row on all sides is drilled and tapped, 5/8"-11 on smaller tables and 1"-12 on larger tables.
