Continuous VOC & Methane Monitoring
VOC Detection That Runs 24/7 at Every Wellsite
Zensory.ai uses Long-Wave Infrared optical gas imaging, video and acoustic AI to catch VOC and methane releases day or night, not once a quarter.
- LWIR optical gas imaging detects VOCs day and night
- AI filters false alarms so you only chase real leaks
- Works at remote sites with little or no connectivity
200+ remote sites monitored, including a 220-site Appalachian Basin program.

Why operators choose continuous VOC detection
See leaks between inspections
Quarterly LDAR surveys are snapshots. Continuous monitoring watches the site all day, every day, so a VOC release is not missed for weeks.
Only true anomalies alert you
Zentinal Core learns your site baseline in about 2 days and tells normal process emissions apart from fugitive ones, so crews are not buried in false alarms.
Day and night imaging
Long-Wave Infrared cameras detect methane and VOCs around the clock at about one-third the cost of traditional mid-wave IR solutions.
Defensible data for reporting
Zentinal IQ quantifies validated events and builds records structured for EPA Subpart OOOOb/OOOOc, state inventories, OGMP 2.0 and SASB or TCFD reporting.
Fewer truck rolls
Operate by exception instead of running pumper routes. That cuts drive time, road risk and vehicle miles.
Alerts where your team already works
Get notified through the Well Checked Dashboard, email, text and your SCADA system via a read-only published API.
How our VOC detection works
Zensory.ai is a multi-sensor platform that fuses high-resolution AI video, Long-Wave Infrared Optical Gas Imaging and acoustic AI on one skid at your site. Onsite edge computing processes and stores everything locally, so detection keeps running when the network drops and syncs when it returns.
Detection happens in tiers. Zentinal Ops handles video and acoustic intelligence. Zentinal Core fuses the sensor streams, filters false alarms and validates true fugitive events. Zentinal IQ then quantifies volume, duration and rate for regulatory-ready reporting.
- Optical Gas Imaging with LWIR cameras for continuous methane and VOC detection
- 360-degree site coverage with high-resolution cameras and AI object detection
- Acoustic AI that flags abnormal equipment sounds and possible malfunctions
- AI Site Learning sets a normal baseline in about 2 days per site
- 1500+ videos analyzed per site per day at production scale
- Rugged build for extreme temperature, vibration and harsh atmospheric conditions
- Alerts via dashboard, email, SMS and SCADA API
- Purchase, lease or subscription, with a pilot program available first
Proven across US onshore basins
“If all our sites are continuously monitored, when a Fugitive Gas Event occurs, which it will, we are proactively alerted and our team can acknowledge, dispatch, then mitigate within 24 hours. Rapid response to a timely methane survey event can minimize or eliminate EPA fines.”
What happens after you request a quote
We learn your sites
A short call covers site count, basins, equipment, connectivity and the reporting frameworks you must satisfy.
You get a scoped proposal
We share pricing for purchase, lease or subscription, plus a pilot program scoped to a defined site count and duration.
We install and tune
Our crews install and commission the hardware, run AI Site Learning, then tune alerts and set up your dispatch runbooks.
Frequently asked questions
How much does VOC detection cost?
Pricing is available on request. It depends on site count, sensor mix and whether you purchase, lease or subscribe. A pilot program lets you evaluate the system on a defined set of sites before a full rollout.
Can this replace quarterly LDAR camera surveys?
The platform is built as a continuous alternative to periodic inspections. Detection event data is suitable as an evidentiary basis for EPA methane rule (Subpart OOOOb/OOOOc) alternative-monitoring applications, and it supports state-agency inventory submissions in states with continuous-monitoring pathways.
What if my sites have poor connectivity?
Onsite edge computing processes and stores data locally, so monitoring runs without continuous network service. Data syncs automatically when the connection returns.
How do you avoid false alarms from normal process emissions?
AI Site Learning builds a normal baseline for each site in about 2 days. Zentinal Core then compares multi-sensor data against that baseline and alerts only on validated fugitive anomalies, not routine process events.
Where do you deploy?
US continental onshore basins. We have confirmed deployments in the Appalachian Basin and are available for the Permian, Anadarko, Bakken, Eagle Ford, Denver-Julesburg, San Juan and other producing regions. We do not serve offshore sites.
Will it work with our SCADA system?
Yes. We offer SCADA integration through a read-only published API, so alerts and emissions data show up in your existing control room workflows.
