Continuous OGI for Oil & Gas Sites
Optical Gas Imaging That Watches Your Wellsites 24/7
Long-wave infrared OGI cameras spot methane and VOC leaks day or night. AI filters out false alarms, so your team acts only on real events.
- LWIR OGI at about 1/3 the cost of mid-wave IR systems
- Continuous coverage instead of quarterly LDAR camera surveys
- Edge computing keeps working with little or no connectivity
13+ years operating. 200+ remote sites monitored, including 220 in the Appalachian Basin.

Why Operators Choose Continuous OGI
See gas day or night
Long-wave infrared cameras image methane and VOC plumes around the clock, not just during a scheduled survey window.
Fewer false alarms
Zentinal Core learns your site baseline in about 2 days and separates normal process emissions from true fugitive leaks.
Lower cost per site
LWIR optical gas imaging runs at roughly one-third the cost of traditional mid-wave IR solutions.
Alerts where you work
Get near real-time alerts through the Well Checked Dashboard, email, text, and SCADA via a read-only API.
Defensible records
Zentinal IQ quantifies validated events for EPA Subpart OOOOb/OOOOc, state inventories, OGMP 2.0, SASB and TCFD reporting.
Works off the grid
Onsite edge computing processes and stores data locally, then syncs when the network comes back.
How Our Optical Gas Imaging Works
Zensory.ai fuses three senses on one platform: high-resolution video with AI object detection, Long-Wave Infrared Optical Gas Imaging for methane and VOC plumes, and acoustic AI that hears abnormal equipment sounds. You get one system instead of several point solutions from different vendors.
Zentinal Core detects and validates the event, filtering out the noise. Zentinal IQ then quantifies only the validated leaks, so the volume and duration numbers you submit to regulators hold up.
- LWIR OGI cameras for continuous day and night methane and VOC detection
- 360 degree site coverage with high-resolution AI video
- Acoustic AI for abnormal equipment sound and malfunction alerts
- AI Site Learning sets a normal baseline in about 2 days per site
- 1500+ videos analyzed per site per day at production scale
- Rugged build for extreme temperature, vibration and harsh air
- Alerts via dashboard, email, SMS and read-only SCADA API
- Purchase, lease or subscription, with a pilot program available
Proven at Production Scale
“If all our sites are continuously monitored, when a Fugitive Gas Event occurs, which it will, we are proactively alerted and our team can acknowledge, dispatch, then mitigate within 24 hours. Rapid response to a timely methane survey event can minimize or eliminate EPA fines.”

Frequently asked questions
How much does optical gas imaging cost?
Pricing is available on request and depends on site count, sensors and deployment needs. Long-wave infrared OGI runs at about one-third the cost of traditional mid-wave IR solutions. Tell us about your sites and we will send a quote.
Can this replace quarterly LDAR camera surveys?
Our platform is built as a continuous alternative to periodic quarterly inspections. Detection event data is suitable as the evidentiary basis for EPA methane rule (Subpart OOOOb/OOOOc) alternative-monitoring applications.
Do you offer handheld or drone-based OGI surveys?
No. We do not sell handheld gas detectors or provide drone, aircraft or satellite survey services. We install fixed, continuous multi-sensor monitoring at your sites.
Will it work at sites with poor connectivity?
Yes. Onsite edge computing processes and stores data locally and runs without continuous network connectivity. Data syncs automatically when the network is available.
How do you avoid flooding my team with false alarms?
AI Site Learning builds a normal baseline in about 2 days per site. Zentinal Core filters normal process emissions and alerts only on true fugitive anomalies. Alert-tuning services adjust sensitivity as sites change.
Where do you deploy?
US continental onshore basins. We have confirmed deployments in the Appalachian Basin and are available in the Permian, Anadarko, Bakken, Eagle Ford, Denver-Julesburg, San Juan and other producing basins. We do not serve offshore sites.
