Why operators choose Well Checked
Catch leaks between inspections
Quarterly LDAR camera surveys only show a snapshot. Our platform watches your sites continuously, so leaks are found as they happen.
Alerts you can trust
Zentinal Core™ learns each site's normal baseline in about 2 days, then filters out false alarms and alerts only on true fugitive events.
See, hear and smell the site
High-resolution AI video, Long-Wave Infrared optical gas imaging and acoustic AI work together in one system. No multiple vendors needed.
Respond within 24 hours
Near real-time alerts by dashboard, email, text and SCADA API let your team acknowledge, dispatch and mitigate fast.
Defensible data for reporting
Zentinal IQ™ quantifies validated events for EPA Subpart OOOOb/OOOOc submissions, state inventories, OGMP 2.0 and ESG reports.
Fewer windshield miles
Operate by exception instead of driving pumper routes. Less road time means lower cost, lower risk and fewer vehicle emissions.
What our gas leak detection service includes
Well Checked designs, builds and operates the Zensory.ai™ platform. Each site gets rugged edge-computing hardware that processes video, infrared and sound onsite — so detection keeps running even when the network drops. Data syncs automatically when the connection returns.
We install and commission the equipment, run the AI site learning, tune alerts to your operations and connect the feed to your dashboard, email, text or SCADA system. Hardware and software are available by purchase, lease or subscription, and a pilot program lets you prove the value first.
- Optical Gas Imaging with Long-Wave Infrared cameras for day and night methane and VOC detection
- LWIR imaging at about one-third the cost of traditional mid-wave IR solutions
- 360° site coverage with high-resolution cameras and AI object detection
- Acoustic AI that flags abnormal equipment sounds for early malfunction warning
- 1500+ videos analyzed per site per day at production scale
- AI site learning sets a normal baseline in about 2 days, then separates fugitive from process emissions
- Read-only SCADA API integration that fits operator cybersecurity standards
- Rugged build for extreme temperature, vibration and harsh atmospheres
- Alert-tuning, dispatch runbooks and response-workflow templates included
Proven across remote US wellsites
“If all our sites are continuously monitored, when a Fugitive Gas Event occurs, which it will, we are proactively alerted and our team can acknowledge, dispatch, then mitigate within 24 hours. Rapid response to a timely methane survey event can minimize or eliminate EPA fines.”
What happens after you request a quote
We learn your sites
Tell us site count, basins, equipment and connectivity. We talk through your LDAR and reporting needs.
We scope a pilot or rollout
You get a proposal with pricing options — purchase, lease or subscription — plus a fixed-scope pilot if you want proof first.
We install and tune
Our crews install and commission the hardware, run AI site learning, then tune alerts and connect your dashboard or SCADA feed.
Frequently asked questions
How much do your gas leak detection services cost?
Pricing is available on request. It depends on site count, deployment scope and which tiers you need. A pilot program is available so you can evaluate the system before a full rollout.
Can this replace our quarterly LDAR inspections?
The platform provides continuous monitoring instead of periodic snapshots. Detection event data is suitable as evidentiary basis for EPA methane rule (40 CFR Part 60 Subpart OOOOb/OOOOc) alternative-monitoring applications.
Will it work at sites with poor or no connectivity?
Yes. Onsite edge computing processes and stores data locally, so monitoring runs without continuous network service. Data syncs automatically when the network is available.
How do you keep false alarms under control?
AI site learning builds a normal baseline for each site in about 2 days. Zentinal Core™ then filters out routine process events and alerts only on true fugitive anomalies. Alert-tuning services keep sensitivity right as sites change.
Where do you deploy?
US continental onshore basins. We have confirmed deployments in the Appalachian Basin and are available for the Permian, Anadarko, Bakken, Eagle Ford, Denver-Julesburg, San Juan and other producing basins.
Do you handle home or building gas leaks?
No. Well Checked serves US upstream oil & gas operators and industrial facilities. We do not provide residential or consumer gas leak services.
Can alerts reach our control room?
Yes. Alerts go to the Well Checked Dashboard, email, text and your SCADA system through a read-only published API.
