What the flow straightener does inside your pipe
The Flow Conditioning Device is an in-line flow straightener installed immediately after your water meter, on your side of the connection. It uses a four-part system: air and gas separation, pressure regulation, a check valve on select models, and turbulence elimination. The result is steady, laminar flow through the meter.
Every FCD is custom-made for your pipe size, water pressure, install location and how the facility runs. It works with any pipe size and any meter type, so you do not need to change your meter or your plumbing layout.

Will it drop my water pressure?
Pressure loss is negligible by design. In rare cases a few psi drop at the meter has been recorded. It does not affect downstream operations or equipment.
Does it work with my meter?
Yes. The FCD works with any meter type and any pipe size from NPS 1/2" to 12" (DN20 to DN500). We do not sell or replace meters.
How long does installation take?
Usually about an hour, plus or minus, for straightforward configurations. Industrial applications may take longer. Turn-key installation is available.
