What happens in a kitchen and bath design consultation
Your consultation is a conversation, not a sales pitch. A designer learns how you cook, who uses the space and what is not working today. Then we talk through layout options, storage, cabinetry styles and materials so you understand your choices.

Is the design consultation really free?
Yes. The Kitchen Factory offers a free initial consultation for kitchen, bathroom, closet and home office projects.
Can you meet at my home instead of the showroom?
Yes. Showroom appointments are available Monday to Saturday, 10am to 3pm, and our design team also arranges in-home consultations. Just ask when we call.
Which areas do you serve?
We serve greater Los Angeles and Southern California, including Studio City, Burbank, Encino, Calabasas, Brentwood, Bel Air, Pacific Palisades, Culver City, Redondo Beach, Long Beach and Santa Barbara.
Can one designer handle both my kitchen and bathroom?
Yes. We design kitchens, bathrooms, closets, pantries, home offices and entertainment centers, so one team can plan them together.
What will my project cost?
Every project is custom, so pricing depends on your layout, cabinetry line, materials and scope. Your consultation and design plan give you a clear picture before anything is built.
Do I have to use your installers?
No. At design sign-off you can designate your own installer, or use our preferred installers who are carefully vetted by our experts.
