What a Softrol Garment Conveyor System Includes
Softrol Rail moves goods through your plant without manual handling. It automatically accepts slings of soiled linen from the automated sort system and moves them to buffer rails for storage, then sequences and loads slings into continuous batch washers.
On the clean side, SoftSort handles garment sortation with RFID tags and barcode scanning, pre-sort and post-sort buffering conveyors, and touchscreen controls. Fully automated and semi-automated layouts are both available.

How much does a garment conveyor system cost?
Pricing is available on request. Cost depends on plant layout, rail length, throughput and how much of the sortation you automate, so we quote each system after reviewing your operation.
Will a rail system fit in my plant?
Often yes. Systems can be configured for limited floor space, including hybrid designs that use powered rail where needed and less costly slick rail for storage during sorting.
Can you work with my existing washers and dryers?
Softrol supplies controls and integration rather than washers. Softrol Rail interfaces with continuous batch washers through Milnor DataFusion, and MicroPulse control retrofits can update existing wash aisle machines.
Do you replace an old sortation system?
Yes. Vogue Linen came to Softrol in 2021 to replace an antiquated garment sortation system with a solution that fit their available floor space.
Where do you install these systems?
Softrol serves the United States and Canada, with international installations. Headquarters, manufacturing and parts are in Acworth, Georgia.
