Rolling Wedge makes patented rolling carbide cutters that bolt onto the same milling equipment you run today. Instead of hammering the surface like a pointed pick, each tool rolls, wedges and lifts the material away. That uses the low tensile strength of asphalt and concrete, so the cut takes less force and the tool wears more evenly.
We sell tooling only. You can buy individual cutters and mounts to upgrade an existing drum, or a complete Rolling Wedge milling drum for your skidsteer planer attachment.

Will these bits fit my machine?
Rolling Wedge tools mount to skidsteer planer attachments from makers such as Bobcat, Caterpillar, Kubota, Roadhog, Simex and Virnig, and to large road milling machines on Roadtec, Caterpillar and Wirtgen platforms. Tell us your machine and drum size and we will confirm the right tools and mounts.
Can I try them before I buy?
Yes, for qualifying customers. We run a limited 20-day Rolling Wedge Milling Drum evaluation called Try & Buy. It is an evaluation program, not a general rental program.
Do they really cut rebar?
The rolling-wedging-lifting action cuts through many grades of rebar, wire mesh reinforced concrete and some concrete joint dowel bars without jamming or stalling.
What does the warranty cover?
Rolling Wedge Milling Tools are warranted to last 10 times longer than carbide picks in asphalt milling applications. The warranty is limited to a one-time like-for-like replacement of damaged tools, subject to inspection. Tools must be returned freight prepaid to Rolling Wedge LLC in Peoria, Illinois.
Do you do the milling work too?
No. Rolling Wedge manufactures and sells milling tools, drums and mounts only. We sell direct to contractors and municipalities in the United States.
