What is the difference between a densitometer and a spectrophotometer?
A densitometer measures ink density. A spectrophotometer measures full spectral color for profiling and QC. Nix Spectro L does both in one portable device.
Will it work with my profiling software?
The Barbieri Spectro Swing qb is compatible with 30 or more profiling and QC applications. Nix units connect by Bluetooth to the Nix Toolkit app. Tell us your software and we will confirm.
Can you handle papers with optical brighteners?
Yes. Nix units support M0, M1 and M2 modes, and Barbieri Spectro LFP qb models support M0, M1, M2 and M3 per ISO 13655.
Do you install and train our operators?
Yes. We offer on-site installation, ICC profile creation, linearization, calibration and operator training, with US-based technical support.
Do you ship outside the United States?
No. ProofNation sells and supports equipment in the United States only, from our Scottsdale, Arizona headquarters.
