Why Medical OEMs Send Us Their Prints

Micron-level accuracy

Swiss-type machining supports the bar right at the cut, so long, slender parts stay true to ±0.0001 in.

Medical-grade materials

We machine titanium, stainless steel, nickel alloys, brass, aluminum and engineering-grade polymers.

Traceable quality system

Parts are made and inspected under an ISO 9001:2015 / AS9100 D certified quality system with full dimensional traceability.

One shop, start to finish

Turning, milling, wire EDM, grinding, plating, polishing and light assembly happen in-house. No vendor hand-offs.

Prototype through production

Start with a few pieces, then scale to multi-spindle runs of 500 or more without changing suppliers.

In-house tooling

Our wire EDM makes custom tooling on site, which keeps tooling cost and lead time down.

Swiss Turned Medical Components, Built to Print

Medical parts leave no room for guesswork. Our Swiss-type CNC screw machines coordinate the workpiece and the tools at the same time, so small diameters, fine threads and high length-to-diameter shapes hold their size all the way down the bar. Turning, drilling, milling, threading, knurling and cross-drilling can be done in one setup, which cuts out secondary operations.

When a feature cannot be turned, wire EDM handles sharp internal corners, intricate outlines and hardened materials. Centerless grinding adds finishes as fine as 4 µin on shafts and pins. Finishing and plating are done here too, so parts arrive ready to install.

  • Swiss-type CNC screw machining to ±0.0001 in
  • Micro-pins, contact extensions and precision spacers
  • Small-diameter shafts, dowel pins and stepped shafts
  • Bushings, sleeves and close-tolerance bores
  • Titanium, stainless steel, nickel alloys, brass, aluminum, polymers
  • Wire EDM for sharp internal corners and hardened materials
  • Centerless grinding: 1/32" to 2-1/4" dia, 4 µin finish, .0001 in tolerance
  • In-house plating: nickel, gold, black oxide, hard chrome, Teflon coating

What Happens After You Submit

  1. Send your print

Share your drawing, material, tolerance and quantity. A 2D or 3D file works fine.

  2. We review the part

Our team checks geometry, material and finish against our turning, EDM and grinding capability.

  3. You get a quote

We reply with pricing and next steps, including prototype and production options.

Frequently asked questions

Can you make titanium medical parts?

Yes. We machine titanium, stainless steel, nickel alloys, brass, aluminum, carbon steel and engineering-grade plastics on our Swiss, screw machine and CNC equipment.

Do you handle prototypes or only production runs?

Both. Swiss and single-spindle machining cover prototypes and low volume. Multi-spindle machining handles high-volume runs of 500 or more pieces.

What quality system do you work under?

Miniature components, shafts, pins, bushings and threaded parts are produced under an ISO 9001:2015 / AS9100 D certified quality system with full dimensional traceability. We also comply with Mil-I-45208A.

How tight can you hold tolerances?

Swiss-type machining holds tolerances as close as ±0.0001 inches. Centerless grinding holds diameters to 0.0001 inches with finishes as fine as 4 µin.

How is pricing set?

Pricing depends on part geometry, material, tolerance, finish and quantity. Send your print and volume and we will quote it.

Do you ship outside California?

Yes. We are a nationwide contract manufacturer based in San Leandro, California, serving US manufacturers.

Ready to quote your medical component?
