Why OEMs source zinc castings from Marcus
One supplier, start to finish
Die design, zinc casting, CNC machining, finishing and assembly all sit under one roof. Fewer vendors to chase.
Class A decorative finishes
In-house plating, PVD and powder coating give bright, even surfaces on hardware, knobs and fittings.
Tight, repeatable tolerances
More than 20 CNC centres, including 3, 4 and 5-axis, machine mating faces and bores to +/-0.005mm.
Certified quality systems
IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001 with APQP, PPAP and FAIR, CMM metrology and ASTM B117 salt spray testing.
Our own tool room
Dies are designed, simulated, built and repaired in-house, with T0 and T1 trials before production starts.
Built for export
We supply customers in India, North America, the UK, Australia, Italy, Mexico, Vietnam and the Middle East.
Zinc die casting built to your drawing
Zinc suits parts that need fine detail, thin walls and a smooth surface. Our hot chamber machines melt the alloy inside the machine, so cycles are fast and dimensions stay consistent across high volumes.
Send your 2D drawing or 3D CAD and we quote the die and the part. For thicker decorative hardware we use gravity die casting, which gives the mirror-grade surface needed for chrome plating and PVD.
- Hot chamber die casting machines up to 120T for high-volume zinc parts
- Zamak 2, 3, 5 and 7 alloys
- Gravity die casting for decorative zinc hardware, handles, knobs and fittings
- Typical parts: connectors, lock housings, hardware and miniaturised components
- CNC machining from your 3D CAD on 3, 4 and 5-axis centres to +/-0.005mm
- Finishing: copper-nickel-chrome, nickel and zinc plating, electroless nickel, PVD, powder coat in any RAL colour, CED
- Chrome plated parts reach up to 240 hours neutral salt spray resistance
- Inspection with CMM, OES and XRF, plus full batch certificates
- Mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly so parts arrive ready to install
Proof from the shop floor
“Speed was our priority. Their hot chamber machines pump out our lock housings faster than any supplier we've used before, and the tolerances hold up perfectly.”
“Marcus Hi-Tech's hot chamber capabilities allowed us to miniaturize our connectors without losing strength. The zinc castings are incredibly precise.”
“Right place for Aluminium and Zinc Components.”
What happens after you send your part
1. Share the part details
Send your drawing or 3D CAD with alloy, finish and yearly volume. A missing detail is fine, we will ask.
2. Engineering and DFM review
Our team runs a DFM check and simulation, suggests the best zinc process and alloy, then quotes tooling and part price.
3. Tooling, trials, production
We build the die in our own tool room, run T0 and T1 trials, complete PPAP and FAIR, then move into production and shipping.
Frequently asked questions
Which zinc alloys do you cast?
We cast Zamak 2, 3, 5 and 7. If you are not sure which fits, send the part and its duty, and our engineers will suggest an alloy during the DFM review.
How large can a zinc part be?
Our hot chamber machines run up to 120T, which suits small and medium precision parts such as connectors, lock housings and hardware. Thicker decorative parts are made by gravity die casting. Send your drawing and we will confirm.
Do you build the die as well?
Yes. Our in-house tool room designs, simulates and builds dies, jigs and fixtures, runs T0 and T1 trials, and handles repairs, refurbishment and engineering changes.
Can you machine and finish the castings?
Yes. We have over 20 CNC machining centres and an in-house finishing plant for plating, electroless nickel, PVD, powder coating, CED, shot blasting and vibro polishing.
What does a zinc die cast part cost?
Price depends on part size and geometry, alloy, volume, machining, finish and tooling. We do not publish list prices. Send the drawing and volume and you get a quote covering both tooling and piece price.
Do you ship outside India?
Yes. We manufacture in Coimbatore, India and supply customers across North America, the United Kingdom, Australia, Italy, Mexico, Vietnam and the Middle East.
Ready to price your zinc die cast part?
