Why automotive buyers machine with Marcus

Tight tolerances, held part after part

We machine critical mating faces, bearing bores, threaded interfaces and sealing surfaces to ±0.005mm. Custom jigs locate every part from defined datums.

One supplier from metal to finished part

Die casting, CNC machining, surface finishing and assembly sit under one roof, so you stop chasing three vendors for one component.

Automotive quality systems

IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001 certified processes with DFM, APQP, PPAP and FAIR documentation on every programme.

Measured, not assumed

Inline inspection plus CMM, OES, leak testing and air plug gauges confirm parts meet print before they ship.

Built for export buyers

We supply customers in North America, the UK, Italy, Australia, Mexico, the Middle East, Vietnam and India from Coimbatore, India.

What our CNC shop does for automotive parts

Marcus runs more than 20 in-house CNC machining centres, including 3/4/5-axis VMCs, Turn-Mill centres and Drill-Tap centres. Toolpaths are programmed straight from your 3D CAD model, so the machined part matches your design intent.

Most work is machining of aluminium, zinc and magnesium die castings we pour ourselves. You can also send build-to-print parts and let us add finishing, assembly and inspection before dispatch.

  • 20+ in-house CNC centres: 3-axis milling through 5-axis simultaneous machining
  • Tolerances of ±0.005mm on mating faces, bearing bores, threads and sealing faces
  • Machining of aluminium, zinc and magnesium components and castings
  • Custom jigs and fixtures that locate each casting from defined datums
  • Gearbox, motor and transmission housings, EV battery enclosures and under-hood parts
  • In-house tool room for die design, mould making, jigs, fixtures and tool repair
  • In-house finishing: anodising, powder coating, plating, CED, blasting, resin impregnation
  • Inspection with CMM, OES, leak testing, salt spray and XRF

What our CNC shop does for automotive parts

Four decades of machined and cast components

“Speed was our priority. Their hot chamber machines pump out our lock housings faster than any supplier we've used before, and the tolerances hold up perfectly.”

“Right place for Aluminium and Zinc Components.”

What happens after you send the form

  1. Share your part data

Send your 3D CAD model or 2D drawing with material, tolerances, finish and expected volume.

  2. We review and quote

Our engineers run a DFM review, plan the machining and tooling route, and come back with pricing.

  3. Trials, then production

We run T0 and T1 trials and FAIR or PPAP validation before scaling to series production.

Frequently asked questions

Can you machine parts to our own drawings?

Yes. Marcus works build-to-print. Toolpaths are programmed directly from your 3D CAD models, and custom jigs hold each part from your defined datums.

Do you also make the casting, or only machine it?

Both. We run cold chamber high-pressure die casting from 60T to 2500T, hot chamber up to 120T, low pressure and gravity die casting, then machine and finish the part in house.

What tolerances can you hold?

We machine to ±0.005mm on critical mating faces, bearing bores, threaded interfaces and sealing surfaces in aluminium, zinc and magnesium.

What volumes do you take on?

From rapid prototypes and T0/T1 trials through to high-volume OEM production. Tell us your annual volume in the form and we will confirm the best process for it.

How is pricing worked out?

Pricing is quoted per part. It depends on material, part size, tolerances, machining time, finishing and volume, so we quote after reviewing your drawing.

Do you ship outside India?

Yes. We are an export-focused manufacturer based in Coimbatore, India, serving North America, the United Kingdom, Italy, Australia, Mexico, the Middle East, Vietnam and India.

Can you add finishing and assembly?

Yes. Anodising, powder coating, plating, CED, PVD, heat treatment and resin impregnation are in house, along with mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly.
