Why OEMs source automotive castings from Marcus
One supplier, finished parts
Casting, CNC machining, finishing and assembly happen under one roof. You get ready-to-install parts, not raw castings.
Certified automotive quality
IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001 processes with DFM, APQP, PPAP and FAIR on every program.
The right casting process
Cold chamber HPDC for aluminium and magnesium, LPDC for safety-critical structural parts, hot chamber for zinc.
Tooling built in-house
Our own tool room designs, simulates and builds the die, then runs T0 and T1 trials before production.
Leak-tight and corrosion ready
Vacuum resin impregnation seals porosity. Powder coat, CED, plating and anodising are tested to ASTM B117.
Built for export
From Coimbatore, India we supply customers in North America, the UK, Italy, Australia, Mexico and the Middle East.
Automotive die casting capability in detail
Send us your 3D CAD or 2D drawing and we pick the process that fits the part. High-pressure cold chamber die casting from 60T to 2500T covers housings, covers and under-the-hood parts in aluminium and magnesium. Low pressure die casting fills the die from the bottom up at 0.1 to 0.7 bar, so structural and safety-critical parts come out dense and heat-treatable.
Every casting can be machined, treated and assembled here. More than 20 CNC centres hold ±0.005mm on mating faces, bearing bores and sealing surfaces. Finishing, inspection and sub-assembly follow, so one purchase order covers the whole part.
- Cold chamber HPDC: 60T to 2500T for aluminium and magnesium parts
- LPDC parts from 1 kg to over 30 kg, plan size up to 900mm x 600mm
- Aluminium alloys: ADC10, ADC12, A380, A384, AlSi10MnMg, LM2, LM6, LM24, LM25
- A356 and A357 structural parts reaching 200-280 MPa yield after T6
- Hot chamber zinc up to 120T in Zamak 2, 3, 5 and 7 for connectors and lock housings
- Typical parts: motor and gearbox housings, transmission housings, EV battery enclosures, structural parts
- Machining on 3/4/5-axis VMC, Turn-Mill and Drill-Tap centres from your CAD model
- Inspection by CMM, OES, leak testing, salt spray and XRF
Backed by four decades of casting work
“Speed was our priority. Their hot chamber machines pump out our lock housings faster than any supplier we've used before, and the tolerances hold up perfectly.”
“CED coating penetrates every blind hole in our underbody brackets. Consistent film thickness, consistent corrosion performance — we've moved all our zinc coating work to Marcus.”
“The chrome finish on our door handles is mirror-perfect and holds up through 240-hour salt spray without a single blister. Marcus Hi-Tech's pretreatment process is clearly superior.”

We review and quote
Our engineers run a DFM review, suggest the best casting process and send tooling and part pricing.
Tool, trial, produce
We build the die in our tool room, run T0 and T1 trials, complete PPAP, then move to production.
Frequently asked questions
How is automotive die casting priced?
Pricing depends on part size, alloy, cavitation, machining, finishing and annual volume. Tooling is quoted separately from the piece price. Send your drawing and volumes and we will quote both.
Can you machine and finish the castings too?
Yes. Machining runs on more than 20 in-house CNC centres to ±0.005mm. Finishing includes powder coating, CED e-coat, plating, anodising, shot blasting, vibro polishing and resin impregnation, all in-house.
Do you support automotive quality requirements?
Marcus is IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001 certified. We provide DFM, APQP, PPAP and FAIR documentation, with CMM, OES, leak testing, salt spray and XRF inspection.
Which process suits safety-critical structural parts?
Low pressure die casting in A356 or A357. Bottom-up filling avoids turbulence and trapped porosity, and T6 heat treatment gives 200 to 280 MPa yield strength.
Do you make parts for electric vehicles?
Yes. We produce EV battery enclosures and housings, motor, gearbox and transmission housings, and structural parts in aluminium and magnesium.
Do you export outside India?
Yes. We supply customers in North America, the United Kingdom, Italy, Australia, Mexico, Vietnam and the Middle East, with partner facilities in India, Vietnam and China.
Can you supply assembled units, not just castings?
Yes. Our mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly lines build sub-assemblies with ultrasonic welding, crimping, inline inspection and functional testing, then pack and label to your standard.
