Frequently asked questions
What thickness and materials can you cut?
Our 3kW fiber laser cuts sheet and plate up to 3/4 inch on a 5' x 10' bed. For thicker or heat-sensitive material, we use our Omax water jet, which cuts cold and avoids thermal distortion. Send your material and thickness with your print and we will confirm the best process.
Do you take prototypes and small runs?
Yes. We handle prototype and first article work as well as low to medium volume production, and the same equipment supports repeat production once your design is proven.
How is pricing determined?
Pricing depends on your drawing, material, quantity, forming and welding steps, finishing and any inspection reporting. We source material locally through long-standing supplier partnerships to keep costs competitive. Send your print for a firm quote.
Can you finish and assemble the parts too?
Yes. We media blast with glass bead or coal slag, powder coat in a large-capacity cure oven, and offer mechanical assembly, so parts arrive finished and ready to use.
Do you provide inspection reports?
We can supply full dimensional inspection reports using Keyence portable and optical measurement systems and Starrett CMMs, written to your specification.
Where do you deliver?
We are in Marathon, NY and serve Central and Upstate New York, including Cortland, Binghamton, Syracuse and Ithaca, with our own 16' box truck for pickup and delivery. We also ship fabricated parts nationwide in the US.
