IMTS is a custom metal fabrication and precision machining job shop. We build parts and assemblies to your drawings for medical, industrial, automotive, logistics and electronics manufacturers.

Frequently asked questions
How do you price precision manufacturing work?
Pricing depends on your drawing: material, part size, tolerances, processes needed, quantity and finishing. Send your print and we will quote the job.
Do you take prototypes and small runs?
Yes. We support prototype development and low-to-medium volume production, plus repeat production runs on the same part.
Can you supply inspection reports?
Yes. We use Keyence portable and optical measurement systems and Starrett CMMs to give full dimensional inspection reports to your specification.
What materials and thicknesses can you cut?
Our fiber laser cuts sheet and plate up to 3/4" thick. Our Omax water jet handles heat-sensitive and thicker material without thermal distortion, and our saws cut bar stock, tubing and structural material.
Do you serve customers outside Central New York?
We are based in Marathon, NY and serve Cortland, Binghamton, Syracuse, Ithaca and the surrounding region. We also ship fabricated parts anywhere in the US.
Can you finish and assemble the parts too?
Yes. We offer media blasting, powder coating in a large-capacity cure oven and mechanical assembly, so parts arrive production ready.
