How Aeroseal duct sealing works
Most duct leaks sit inside walls, floors and attics where hand-taping is not possible. With Aeroseal, we temporarily pressurize your duct system and release a fine mist of sealant. The escaping air carries the particles to every leak, where they build up and close the gap from the inside.
The result is a duct system that moves more of the air your HVAC equipment produces into the rooms where you want it. Many homeowners pair duct sealing with attic insulation or air sealing for a bigger drop in wasted energy.

How much does ductwork sealing cost?
Price depends on the size and layout of your duct system and what we find during the inspection. We give you a clear quote before any work begins.
Do you have to tear open my walls or ceilings?
No. Aeroseal works from inside the ducts. The sealant is blown through the pressurized system and seals leaks where they are, including spots inside walls and floors.
Is the sealant safe for my family?
The sealant is a water-based emulsion that is non-toxic and non-flammable. It cures into an inert, low-VOC, moisture-resistant seal.
How big of a leak can it seal?
Aeroseal bridges gaps up to 5/8 of an inch. Larger openings are handled differently, and we'll point those out when we inspect your system.
Do you work in my area?
We serve homeowners in Northern Utah, including the Salt Lake City region and surrounding communities. We do not work outside Utah.
Should I do anything else at the same time?
