What goes into an automated spot welding cell
We engineer each welding system around your part geometry, weld requirements, production rate and quality standards. That covers fixture design, tooling integration, servo positioning, part presentation and robot programming for single-robot, multi-robot or coordinated cells.
Vision is optional and often worth it. Cameras can identify parts, locate seams, correct robot paths and verify weld quality before parts move downstream.

Which robots do you use?
We primarily integrate FANUC robots. GLOBAL is a Level 5 FANUC Authorized System Integrator and was the largest purchaser of FANUC robots among U.S. integrators in 2025.
Can you retrofit robots into our existing weld line?
Yes. We handle retrofits and line upgrades, including new product launches, model year changeovers and capacity expansions, with a focus on minimizing downtime and capital spend.
Where do you install systems?
Our focus is North America, including the U.S. manufacturing belt, Ontario and Mexico. We are headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan, with offices in 4 countries and project work in 22 countries.
How long will the project take?
Timing depends on scope, tooling and how many robots are in the cell. Our feasibility and consulting work defines project scope, implementation timeline and capital requirements before full integration starts.
