Filter bags and bag housings for liquid service
A bag filter is a simple way to pull solids out of a liquid line at high flow. The bag drops into a housing basket, the liquid flows inside to out, and your crew swaps the bag when the pressure drop climbs. We supply both halves of that system: the bags and the housing they sit in.
Bags come with ring tops, plastic flange tops with handles, drawstring or tie-on tops, or blank tops for systems without a standard housing. Housings run from small Miniline units up to MAXILINE multi-bag vessels holding 24 bags.
- Felt bags: 1 to 200 micron in polyester, polypropylene, nylon, Nomex and Teflon
- Monofilament mesh: 1 to 1200 micron, usually nylon; multifilament mesh: 75 to 1500 micron
- POMB, POMA and POMX Ultra meltblown polypropylene bags: 0.5 to 200 micron
- Oil Magnet bags: OS-XL 100-400 micron, OS-16 1-100 micron, OS-32 1-50 micron, plus OSI floating inserts
- Single-bag housings: Topline, Sideline, Flowline, Ecoline, Miniline, Polyline and BF Series for bag sizes #1 through #4
- Materials include 316L and 304L stainless steel, carbon steel, and non-metallic PVC, CPVC, PPL and PVDF
- Topline and Sideline #1 and #2 designs available with ASME Code UM Stamp; Topline carries a five year warranty

Which micron rating should I pick?
It depends on the particle you need to remove. Felt runs 1 to 200 micron, monofilament mesh 1 to 1200 micron, multifilament mesh 75 to 1500 micron, and meltblown POMB/POMA bags go down to 0.5 micron. We have rating charts to help you choose.
Will your bags fit my existing housing?
Bags are made in industry standard #1, #2, #3 and #4 sizes with ring, flange, drawstring, tie-on or blank tops. Tell us your housing make and bag size and we will match it.
Do you have housings that meet pressure vessel codes?
Yes. Topline and Sideline #1 and #2 designs are available with an ASME Code UM Stamp, and the MAXILINE HD multi-bag series is available with an ASME U Code Stamp.
Can you help with oil in our process water?
Yes. The Oil Magnet series is built for oil removal. OS-XL handles bulk visible oil at high flow, OS-16 suits E-Coat systems, OS-32 goes to 1 micron, and OSI floating inserts adsorb surface oil.
