Our engineers review your 3D file, flag what will fight the mold, and redline changes that keep your design intent while making the part easy to mold.
From there we handle mold design, single cavity prototype tooling, molding trials and production tooling. You see the cost structure the whole way, so you can trade features against price with real numbers in front of you.

Frequently asked questions
How is polycarbonate molding priced?
Cost depends on the part, the tool and your volume. Engineering and part design run $110 per hour and prototypes run $100-$500 each. Tooling and per-part price come from your geometry, cavitation and annual volume, which we itemize in your quote.
Can you work from my existing CAD file?
Yes. We start with your own 3D file, review it for moldability, redline changes and document how each change helps the part. SOLIDWORKS is preferred. We can also model from scratch.
Do I have to commit to a production tool right away?
No. Many customers start with rapid prototypes or single cavity prototype tooling to validate fit, function and cosmetics, then move to production tooling once the design is proven.
Will you help pick the right resin and texture?
Yes. Material and texture selection is part of our service. We help you navigate material and texture science so the part performs and looks the way you need.
How do you prove the parts meet spec?
We run a molding trial report where T1 samples are evaluated before texturing, monitoring fill speed, knit lines, zone temperatures and cycle time. First article inspection covers 30 points per cavity on critical dimensions and 5 on non-critical, with Cp and Cpk data.
