Nylon is tough and wear resistant, but it also shrinks and absorbs moisture in ways that can surprise you. That is why we start with your application, then work back to material, part geometry and tool design. You get a part that molds well, holds tolerance and costs less to run.

How is a nylon injection molding quote priced?
Pricing has two parts: engineering and tooling, then the per-part price. Engineering and part design is $110 per hour, and prototypes run $100-$500 each depending on size and system. Part price depends on your geometry, nylon grade, cavitation and volume, which is what the quote clarifies.
Can you help pick the right nylon grade?
Yes. Material and texture selection is part of our service. We match the resin and surface finish to your part's fit, function, cosmetics and lifecycle needs.
Do I need a finished CAD model to start?
No. You can start with your own 3D file or we can model from scratch. SOLIDWORKS is preferred. We review the file, redline changes for moldability, and finish with a print and part number.
Can I test parts before committing to production tooling?
Yes. We offer rapid prototypes for cosmetic or functional checks, plus single cavity prototype tooling in the Beta Development stage so you can test real molded parts before production tooling.
How do you confirm parts meet spec?
We run molding trials and provide a trial report on T1 samples, which show about 90% of how the part will mold. First article inspection covers 30 points per cavity on critical dimensions and 5 on non-critical, with Cp and Cpk data on process variation.
