Frequently asked questions
Do you work with companies outside Minnesota?
Yes. EVOK sells across the United States. Our engineering team is based in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area and supports customers nationwide, including Texas.
How is pricing set?
Engineering and part design is $110 per hour. Prototypes run $100 to $500 each depending on size and process. Tooling and per-part price depend on your part, material and volume, so we quote after we see your file.
I only have a sketch. Can you still help?
Yes. We can model from scratch or start with your own 3D file, then redline the changes that improve moldability and explain why each one helps.
Can I see the part before I pay for a production tool?
Yes. We offer rapid prototypes for structural and cosmetic checks, plus single cavity prototype tooling to produce test parts before production tooling.
How do you confirm parts meet spec?
Through molding trial reports on T1 samples and first article inspection. Critical dimensions carry 30 inspection points per cavity and non-critical dimensions carry 5 per cavity, with Cp and Cpk data to show process variation.
What industries do you serve?
Powersports, medical device, semiconductor and flat panel, consumer products, packaging, marine, and OEMs of many kinds.
