How the palm vein time clock works on a job site
PalmClock uses the Fujitsu PalmSecure F-Pro sensor. Near-infrared light reads about 5 million points in the vein pattern under the skin of the hand. That pattern is shared by no one else, not even identical twins, and the system checks for liveness so it cannot be fooled by a photo or a replica.
Workers hold a hand over the reader. There is no touching, so it suits outdoor and industrial work. Enrollment takes about 15 seconds per hand and is a one-time step. The system is fully networkable, so several job sites and your office share one common operating picture.
