Custom Engineering Since 1998
Process Control System Integration for US Manufacturers
Controlink Systems links your sensors, PLCs, motion controllers and databases into one system your team can run. NI Partner Network member since 2000.
- Process monitoring, machine control and end-of-line test systems
- CAN, UDS, Modbus, Serial, Profinet and EtherCAT interfaces
- HMI screens built so operators need less training

Why manufacturers call us for integration work
One system, not loose parts
We specialize in linking systems together. Sensors, PLCs, motion controllers and databases end up working as one.
Screens your operators understand
We build clear, user-friendly HMI interfaces. That cuts training cost and keeps the system in daily use.
Built on National Instruments
We have provided NI software and hardware solutions since 1998 and have been an NI Partner Network member since 2000.
Talks to the equipment you own
We routinely interface with SQL databases, PLC hardware and industrial gear over CAN, UDS, Modbus, Serial, Profinet and EtherCAT.
Made to run every shift
Many of our solutions run continuously in shop environments, supporting critical manufacturing and test systems.
We know machining
Our focus is machining, shop-floor automation, vibration analysis and product testing, so we speak your shop's language.
What we integrate and build
Controlink Systems has developed software and products for high-speed process monitoring, control and end-of-line testing since 1998. We call our work building Controlinks: taking separate machines, sensors, controllers and databases and making them act as one system.
Most systems are built with National Instruments software and hardware. We also handle the parts around the software, from sensor selection and calibration to signal conditioning, database design and the HMI your operators touch every day.
- Process monitoring and machine control software development
- End-of-line (EOL) product test system software
- Sensor selection, design, integration and calibration
- Non-contact gauging systems for part identification and measurement
- Signal conditioning and complex signal analysis
- Single and multi-axis motion control solutions
- Industrial control strategies and PLC integration
- Relational and SQL database development for manufacturing data
- Data acquisition computers and hardware
- iMonitor real-time DAQ, vibration and modal analysis software
Trusted by plants, shops and labs
“Our daily activities in the Machine Shop have definitely become more manageable since installing Machine Link™. Machine Link™ has helped us to improve accuracy of records along with increased machine utilization. The bottom line is to say that we have overcome some big, big obstacles in our day to day shop operation. Machine uptime is better, along with the improvements in controlling the process. Thanks again for your interest and support in this project.”
How a project starts
Send your project details
Tell us what you need to monitor, control or test. Add machines, signals and protocols if you know them.
Talk with an engineer
We review your setup and ask about sensors, controls, data storage and how your team will use the system.
Get a scope and price
You receive a written plan for the integration work, along with pricing for hardware and software.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a process control integration project cost?
Custom engineering work is quoted per project, because cost depends on scope: signals, sensors, hardware, protocols and software. Send your details or call (800) 838 3479 and we will price your project.
Can you connect to the PLCs and equipment we already have?
Yes. We routinely interface with SQL databases, PLC hardware, single and multi-axis motion controllers and all types of industrial equipment using CAN, UDS, Modbus, Serial, Profinet, EtherCAT and more.
Do you supply hardware as well as software?
Yes. We have provided NI software and hardware solutions since 1998, including data acquisition computers and hardware. Our iMonitor software requires NI hardware.
Do you handle vibration and modal testing?
Yes. iMonitor combines time and frequency domain analysis, with DAQ for real-time voltage, VIBS for voltage and accelerometer measurements, and LAB & MODAL for frequency response measurements.
Where do you work?
We serve manufacturers across the United States. Our office is at 24545 Lela Dr., Lawrenceburg, IN 47025, open Monday to Friday, 9AM-5PM.
We also need CNC file transfer. Can you help?
Yes. Our Machine Link family covers CNC/DNC file transfer from $195, plus QUICK Serve shop-floor automation for up to 64 machines at once.
