Will it work with my older CNC controls?
Machine Link communicates with every CNC in your shop that supports standard RS-232 serial, old or new. It supports ASCII, ISO and EIA character sets and drip feeds most machines. Machine Link BINARY also sends Executive Tapes for commissioning older controls.
How many machines can one computer handle?
Machine Link PLUS allows six simultaneous sessions and needs one available COM port per machine. QUICK Serve serves up to 3 machines, QUICK Serve PLUS up to 20 and QUICK Serve PRO up to 64 from a single computer.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. You can evaluate Machine Link QUICK Serve, QUICK Serve PLUS and QUICK Serve PRO free for 45 days. PDA-DNC can be downloaded and run in Trial Mode for as long as you like.
What if my computer fails after I buy?
QUICK Serve packages include a Replacement Plan: reinstall within the first 2 years and you get another registration code free, up to two times. After 2 years you get 50% off a replacement order. Machine Link PLUS includes 1-Year Protection, with 5-Year Protection available for $95.
Do you sell outside machine shops or outside the US?
We serve manufacturing shops and plants throughout the United States from our office in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. We do not provide services outside the US, and we do not sell CAD/CAM, ERP or consumer software.
