Embossing, foil stamping, die cutting and lamination
Flat ink only goes so far. Embossing adds a raised, touchable logo or monogram. Foil stamping adds shine in metallic or colored foil. Die cutting gives you custom shapes, windows and covers that stand out on a table or a shelf. Lamination protects the piece so it still looks good after it has been handled.
Compucolor prints the job and finishes it in house on offset, digital and on-demand equipment, including a Komori LS 40 10-color press with H-UV coater. Pricing is quote based, so send your specs and we will price the exact piece you want.

How much does embossing or foil stamping cost?
Pricing is quote based. Cost depends on the size, quantity, paper stock and which finishes you choose. Send your specs and we will send an accurate quote. We do not publish price lists.
How fast can I get a finished job?
Orders are normally ready to be picked up or shipped within 24-72 hours from the submission of properly created files. No order carries a guaranteed pick-up or delivery time.
Can you print and finish book or magazine covers?
Yes. We print books and magazines and can add foil stamping, embossing, die cutting and lamination, then bind with perfect binding, saddle stitching, coil or wire binding.
How should I send my artwork?
PDF is preferred, and we also accept Adobe, JPEG and GIFF files. Build art in CMYK at 300 DPI minimum, with crop marks and 1/8 inch bleed. Upload files under 100mb online, or use our FTP site for larger files.
Do you ship outside New York?
Yes. We serve a national customer base in the United States and ship by UPS and USPS, Monday through Friday. Messenger delivery is available to Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens with a $25.00 minimum delivery charge, and customer pickup is available on weekdays. We do not print or ship internationally.
Is there a minimum quantity?
Tell us the run you need and we will quote it. We print short runs digitally and larger runs on offset presses, so the quote reflects the quantity and finishing you ask for.
