What the assessment covers
Cloudtech uses AWS Application Discovery Service and structured interviews to map what you run today: applications, data, dependencies, and the constraints that decide your order of moves. You get a clear picture of which workloads are ready now, which need work first, and which should be retired.
From there we recommend a path for each workload across the full 7Rs and build a wave plan with a fixed-fee price. We prefer landing zones built on AWS Control Tower so your new AWS foundation is secure and organized from day one.

Is the AWS migration readiness assessment really free?
Yes. Cloudtech offers a free migration readiness assessment. Execution work is then quoted as a fixed-fee wave plan, or time and materials if you prefer.
Can AWS funding cover part of the cost?
We pursue AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) funding on all qualifying deals. As an AWS Advanced Tier Partner, we can often apply partner funding that reduces or eliminates your out-of-pocket cost. Eligibility is confirmed during scoping.
What kinds of environments can you migrate?
On-prem, colo, VMware, and other-cloud workloads. We cover the full 7Rs: rehost, replatform, refactor, retire, retain, relocate, and repurchase.
How long does an assessment take?
Timing depends on the size and complexity of your estate. We confirm the schedule on the free scoping call before any work starts.
Do you work with companies outside the United States?
No. Cloudtech serves clients in the United States. Delivery is remote-first from our New York City headquarters, across AWS US-East and US-West, with GovCloud on request.
Do you only work with AWS?
Yes. Cloudtech is an AWS-only consulting firm and an AWS Advanced Tier Partner with SMB Competency. We do not deliver Azure or Google Cloud projects.
