Your island top made in our own shop
We fabricate quartz, granite, quartzite and Dekton in house. Slabs are precision cut and hand finished, then digitally templated for a tight fit.
Storage that fits how you cook
Add roll-out trays, tray dividers, cutlery inserts, spice drawers and pull-out waste units. Lazy susan and blind corner cabinets handle tricky corners.
Finishes that hold up to daily use
Our cabinets are factory finished with catalyzed conversion varnish and high heat curing, so they last longer than finishes applied on the jobsite.
Installed by trained CKF teams
Our own installers set the cabinets and the top. When CKF installs, you get a one-year warranty on drawer track and door hinge adjustments.

What goes into a CKF kitchen island
An island has to work harder than the rest of the kitchen. It holds prep space, seating, trash, pots and often the sink. Our designers lay out the cabinet boxes, the inside storage and the countertop together so the finished island fits your room and the way you use it.
You can match the island to your perimeter cabinets or go two-tone with a different color or wood. Cabinet lines run from budget-friendly Elements to premium Signature, so we can build the island around your budget.

How your island project works
1. Design consultation
Meet our Sales and Design team in a showroom. You see full kitchen displays, pick cabinet lines, finishes, storage and your countertop material.
2. Digital templating
A CKF template technician digitally measures your space so the island top is cut to an exact fit before fabrication starts.
3. Fabrication and installation
We build your top in our own facility, then our trained crews install the cabinets and countertop and adjust the doors and drawers.
Frequently asked questions
How much do kitchen island cabinets cost?
Price depends on the cabinet line, door style, finish, size and the countertop you choose. Lines run from budget-friendly Elements to premium Signature, and countertops are tiered from A to H. Ask for a free quote and we will price your exact island.
Can the island match my other kitchen cabinets?
Yes. The island can use the same line and finish as your perimeter cabinets, or a different color or wood for a two-tone look. Your designer will lay out both together.
Do you supply the island countertop too?
Yes. We fabricate island tops in our own facility in quartz, granite, quartzite, Dekton, terrazzo and mineral surface, in 1.2cm, 2cm and 3cm, with polished or suede finishes and your choice of edge profile.
Do you install, or is it supply only?
We install. Our trained teams handle cabinet and countertop installation after digital templating. When CKF does the installation, drawer track and door hinge adjustments are covered for one year.
Where do you work?
We serve the Midwest from showrooms in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska, Des Moines and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and the Kansas City metro.
Can you add outlets or charging to the island?
We can build the FreePower wireless charging system into the countertop during fabrication. It runs on a standard 110V outlet and charges Qi-enabled phones right through the stone.
