What the DLAN incident command system does
DisasterLAN (DLAN) is a modular, web-based all-hazards incident management system. It grew out of a 2002 pilot project for the Erie County Emergency Operations Center and is now used at local, county, state, tribal, regional and territorial levels in the US and Canada.

Is the software NIMS and ICS compliant?
Yes. DLAN was the first and only incident management system evaluated by FEMA's NIMS STEP program as fully compliant with NIMS and ICS principles and interoperability communications standards. It includes ICS-compliant templates and forms.
Can we host it on our own servers?
Yes. DLAN is available cloud-hosted or on-premise. BCG is an ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified provider and uses role-based access controls and audit trails.
Is there an app for field responders?
Yes. The Mobile Responder app works on tablets and phones, captures data offline with GPS-tagged photos and video, and syncs automatically when connectivity returns.
Can DLAN be customized for our agency?
Yes. Dashboards, forms and workflows are configurable, and BCG offers custom engineering, interoperability and integration services. If a requested customization would help other customers, it may be developed at a significantly reduced cost or at no cost.
What training and support do you provide?
BCG offers role-based skill builder training, ICS training and scenario-based training, plus system administration support, EOC activation and exercise support. All BCG DLAN staff are trained in ICS and the National Response Framework through the ICS 400 level.
