What an EMS incident management system should do
DisasterLAN (DLAN) is BCG's all-hazards incident management system. EMS, fire, hospital and emergency management teams use it to log requests, assign tasks, track units and share one common operating picture. It runs in a web browser and on mobile devices, so field crews and the EOC work from the same data.
The platform is modular. Start with the modules you need, then add toolkits as your program grows. All engineering is done in house by BCG's team in Blasdell, New York.

Is the system NIMS and ICS compliant?
Yes. DLAN was the first and only incident management system evaluated by FEMA's NIMS STEP program as fully compliant with NIMS and ICS principles and interoperability communications standards. Templates and workflows are ICS-compliant.
Can we host it on our own servers?
Yes. DLAN can be cloud-hosted or installed on premise. Role-based access controls, audit trails and version tracking are included, and BCG is an ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified provider.
Will it work when crews have no signal?
Yes. The Mobile Responder module captures data offline, including GPS-tagged photos and video, and syncs automatically once the device reconnects.
Can you match our forms and workflows?
Dashboards, forms and workflows are configurable to your agency structure. BCG also offers custom engineering and integration services. If a requested customization helps other customers too, it may be developed at a reduced cost or no cost.
Do you train our staff and support activations?
Yes. BCG offers role-based skill builder training, ICS training and scenario-based training. All BCG DLAN staff are trained in ICS and the National Response Framework through the ICS 400 level. Exercise support, system administration support and onsite activation support are available.
