Why recovery teams choose DisasterLAN
One record for every request
Log requests, tasks and follow-ups as tickets. Color-coded priorities and statuses show what is still open and who owns it.
Toolkits built for recovery
Plug and play toolkits cover emergency sheltering, FEMA Community Lifelines, Individual and Public Assistance damage assessment, and after-action review.
Field data, even offline
The Mobile Responder app captures notes, photos and video offline, then syncs GPS-tagged data automatically when the connection returns.
Licensing that flexes
BCG uses bandwidth-based licensing instead of per-seat pricing, so you can bring more people in during a disaster.
Secure, US-built software
All engineering is done in house by BCG, an ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified, veteran-owned US small business founded in 1982.
Proven in real disasters
More than 300 deployments across the US and customers in 10+ countries, including FEMA, the U.S. Coast Guard and New York State.
What DisasterLAN tracks through recovery
Disaster recovery is case work. People need shelter, homes need assessing, and every request needs an owner and a status. DisasterLAN (DLAN) is a modular, web-based all-hazards incident management system that keeps that work in one place instead of spread across spreadsheets and email.
Forms and tickets are tied together, so a shelter intake or a damage assessment becomes a trackable record. You can filter by incident, location, city, county and date range, then export reports in PDF, Excel or ICS-compliant forms.
- Ticket-based request and task tracking with role-based permissions
- Emergency sheltering toolkit for capacity and status tracking
- Individual Assistance and Public Assistance damage assessment toolkits
- FEMA Community Lifelines toolkit for stabilization tracking
- After-action review and corrective action planning toolkit
- ESRI-based GIS mapping for a shared common operating picture
- Mobile Responder app with offline capture and GPS-tagged photos and video
- ICS-compliant Incident Action Plans and Situation Reports with approval workflows
- Cloud-hosted or on-premise deployment, purchase or lease

Frequently asked questions
Does DisasterLAN handle case work like sheltering and damage assessment?
Yes. DLAN Toolkits include emergency sheltering, Individual Assistance and Public Assistance damage assessment, FEMA Community Lifelines, and after-action review. Each uses linked forms and tickets you can filter by incident, location, city, county and date range.
How is the software priced?
Pricing is available on request. BCG uses bandwidth-based licensing instead of per-seat pricing, so the number of users is not what drives cost. Ask for a quote based on your deployment.
Can we host it ourselves?
Yes. DisasterLAN is available cloud-hosted or on-premise, with purchase and lease options. We can review which fits your IT and security rules.
Can forms and workflows match our agency?
Yes. Dashboards, forms and workflows are configurable to your agency structure. BCG is an engineering firm and also builds custom integrations. If a requested customization would help other customers, it may be developed at a significantly reduced cost or at no cost.
Do you train our staff?
Yes. BCG offers role-based skill builder training, ICS training and scenario-based training. All BCG DLAN staff are trained in the Incident Command System and National Response Framework through the ICS 400 level, and subject matter experts include Fire, EMS and emergency managers.
Who do you work with?
BCG sells to government, military, public safety, healthcare, higher education, utilities, transportation and commercial organizations in the United States, Canada and 10+ countries. We do not sell consumer or personal-use apps.
