SLi-300, SLi-D600 and SLi-D1000 charge and run at the same time, so you can top up without shutting the rig down.

SLi-D600 and SLi-D1000 come apart for air travel. The Protean splits into two isolated 75Wh batteries for carry-on.

Gimbal work punishes batteries. You are running a cinema camera, the gimbal motors, radios and monitors at once, often far from AC power. Block Battery block systems use V-Mount, Gold Mount and B-Mount eliminator plates so you can place the power where it balances best and still feed every device on the rig.

Frequently asked questions
Do you sell gimbals or camera gear?
No. We build lithium battery systems, plates, adapters and chargers for cinema and broadcast rigs. We do not sell cameras, lenses, gimbals or lighting fixtures.
What does a V-Mount plate setup cost?
Some items are listed: the SLi-300 is $600 with charger, 14V eliminator plates are $165, the SLi-D600 is $2,150 and the SLi-D1000 is $2,725, both with charger. Larger systems and custom builds are quoted through authorized dealers.
Can one battery run the camera, gimbal and monitors together?
Our systems support 14.4V, 24V, 28.8V and 30V, and the dual-voltage blocks output nominal 16V DC plus regulated 28V DC. Blocks can also be linked for more capacity. Tell us your load list and we will spec it.
Can I rent instead of buying?
No. Block Battery products are sold, not rented, through our national dealer network.
Can I fly with these batteries?
The SLi-D600 and SLi-D1000 can be disassembled for air travel, and the Protean splits into two isolated 75Wh batteries for carry-on. Lithium shipping and travel rules still apply.
Do you supply rental houses and crews outside the US?
Yes. We serve the United States and have dealer distribution in Canada, Mexico, South America, the Middle East and Japan, plus fleet programs for camera rental houses.
