The cinema battery range
Block Battery makes professional lithium-ion batteries, chargers and custom power solutions for film, broadcast, ENG/EFP, lighting and aerial production. The line runs from compact 150Wh on-camera packs to 6000Wh block systems, so one brand covers the A-cam, the B-cam, the lighting cart and the aerial rig.
Batteries work with ARRI Alexa and Amira, Sony Venice and FX series, RED V-Raptor and Komodo, Phantom Flex 4K, Blackmagic URSA and Canon C-series cameras, plus ARRI SkyPanel, Vortex, Aputure and Astera fixtures.

How much do cinema batteries cost?
Most systems are custom-quoted based on what you power. Some products are listed: The Protean at $275, LOGOS 150 G at $429, SLi-300 at $600 with charger, SLi-D600 at $2,150 with charger, SLi-D1000 at $2,725 and Artisan Block at $2,850.
Can I rent batteries from you?
No. Block Battery products are sold, not rented, and sales go through our national dealer network rather than direct retail.
Which cameras and lights do they fit?
ARRI Alexa and Amira, Sony Venice and FX series, RED V-Raptor and Komodo, Phantom Flex 4K, Blackmagic URSA and Canon C-series, using the right V-Mount, Gold Mount or 28V B-Mount plate. Larger systems also power SkyPanel, Vortex, Aputure and Astera fixtures.
Can I fly with these batteries?
The Protean configures as two mechanically and electrically isolated 75Wh batteries for carry-on and shipping rules. The SLi-D600 and SLi-D1000 disassemble for air travel. Lithium-ion shipping follows DOT, IATA and IMO rules.

The United States is our primary market, with dealer distribution in Canada, Mexico, South America, the Middle East and Japan.
