What we fabricate
AFTR has offered custom fabricated fiberglass tanks since 2018, backed by the same materials and laminate protocols we use on repair and relining work. Tell us the size, the stored product and the connections you need, and we will build to that service.
We also fabricate parts for tanks already in the ground. New nozzles are pre-fabricated in the shop, then laminated into the tank shell and interior corrosion lining in the field, so your existing vessel keeps working with a new piping layout.

Can you match the tank to the chemical we store?
Yes. We custom blend isophthalic and terephthalic polyester, vinylester and epoxy resins and select from over 45 laminates to match your chemical, its concentration and the operating temperature.
Do you fabricate anything besides complete tanks?
We fabricate FRP components such as troughs, nozzles, ports and manways, and we repair FRP ductwork, scrubbers and neutralizers. Nozzles can be added, resized, relocated or blocked off on tanks already in service.

We are headquartered in Plymouth, NH and our field crews work in all 50 states, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico, plus Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and select international locations.
How long will fabrication take?
Timing depends on the size and scope of the build. We confirm a schedule with your quote and can work around shutdowns, night shifts and weekends.
Should we replace our old tank or repair it?
Often relining is the better option. Our FTPI certified inspectors can assess the vessel with ultrasonic, laser and high intensity backlight testing and give you a report, so you can compare a repair to a new tank.
