How buying in Porto works with Alori
Curated, not a listing portal
We are not an open listings site. We shortlist a small number of Porto properties that match your brief and budget.
Local people on the ground
In-market professionals who know Porto districts, local rules and how transactions actually run.
Due diligence before you commit
We coordinate legal checks, title review and developer vetting with vetted local partners.
Clear market data
Comparable pricing benchmarks and market intelligence so you can judge an asking price for yourself.
Support after you buy
Referrals for property management and rental setup once the title is transferred.
Two markets, studied deeply
We cover Portugal and the country of Georgia only. Fewer markets, deeper understanding.
Porto property types we source
Porto suits buyers who want a city with river frontage, protected historic districts and a steady flow of international visitors. Inventory in the best streets is limited, so much of what we present comes from off-market and pre-launch access through local networks.
Tell us your budget, preferred district and how you plan to use the property. We come back with a shortlist, pricing benchmarks and the next practical steps.

Frequently asked questions
How much do I need to buy property in Porto?
Our typical purchase range is $150,000 to $600,000, with an entry point around $100,000. Higher-end assets are available on request. Pricing for a specific property is shared on request.
Can Americans buy a house in Porto?
Foreign ownership is unrestricted in Portugal. No residency or citizenship is required to own property there.
Do you publish listings I can browse?
No. Alori is a selective gateway, not a public listing portal. We shortlist properties for you after we understand your brief, including off-market and pre-launch stock.
Does buying a house in Porto lead to a Golden Visa?
Portugal's Golden Visa is no longer available through direct real estate purchase. A qualifying investment fund route exists, and we can explain the process. You should take your own legal advice on eligibility.
Can you arrange a mortgage?
We do not lend or provide financing. Buyers typically use cash, home equity (HELOC), developer payment plans or local lenders, and we can point you to the options for a given property.
Who handles the legal work?
We coordinate conveyancing and due diligence with vetted local partners in Portugal. You must still obtain your own independent legal and tax advice.
